The work of Nicolas Vander Biest does it all... straightforward... raw.. sometimes imperfect in craft... but ALWAYS humorous.
With a background in publicity and copywrighting, Nicolas approaches every piece by conceptualizing the text first. Phrase ideas wander in his mind until a graphic solution strikes him.
Somewhere between a poet and a painter, he invites the spectator into his theories, personal opinion and (often dark) sense of humor.
Originally from Belgium, Nicolas is currently based in Mexico City.»
